The deadline checker, size & audit checker and iXBRL validator are free utilities provided as-is. They read the public Companies House register and apply published rules; they do not constitute accounting, tax or legal advice, and no client relationship is created by using them.
Register data can lag reality; deadlines shown are the register's. The size and audit checker applies the statutory thresholds to the figures you enter and states its simplifications on the page. A clean validator report is strong evidence of a well-formed filing, not a guarantee of acceptance by Companies House. Verify anything that matters against the source or with your advisor before acting on it.
No scraping, bulk querying or attempts to circumvent rate limits; the tools are for the companies you are actually responsible for. We may suspend access that degrades the service for others.
To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from use of the free tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The penalty indemnity described on the pricing page applies to paid filing engagements only, under their engagement terms.
We may update the tools and these terms; the date below moves when we do.
